How to Request Assistance
To create a coordinated and successful effort to increase funding from corporations and foundations please follow these steps:
Do you have an idea and need a funding source?
If so please fill out a Request to Fund form. After completing this form and submitting it online the information that you have supplied will be sent to the Corporate and Foundation Relations office. A search will be performed to identify a list of potential sources for your project or event and will be sent to you via email in 7-10 business days.
If there is a source on the list you have received that you would like to approach, please fill out an Intent to Approach for Funding form.
Do you have an idea and have a funding source in mind?
If you have a corporation or foundation in mind that you would like to approach, please fill out an Intent to Approach for Funding form. The Intent to Approach form, if approved, will give you the authorization you need to submit a letter of inquiry or a concept paper to a potential funder. After completing an Intent to Approach for Funding and submitting it online your request will be send to the Corporate and Foundation Relations office for approval. Confirmation of approval or denial of your request will be sent via email as quickly as possible. Please be sure to identify imminent deadlines. The normal approval path is department chair, dean, and provost.
