Building Manager

Included but not limited to set up and operate audio visual equipment; maintain customer relations; ensure proper event set-ups; enforce safety and fire regulations. In the absence of full-time EBS staff, oversee the physical set-up/tear-down of EBS. Provide information to students, faculty, staff, and visitors regarding policies, programs, and services; open and lock rooms as needed; perform and/or assist during building evacuations

Setup Team Member

Included but not limited to performing general cleaning tasks; set and strike equipment and furnishings; set, adjust, and strike audio/visual equipment, use of portable and in-room sound systems, maintain cleanliness of equipment and conference rooms; transport, set-up, removal and storage of equipment and furnishings; transport, set-up, removal and storage of audio/visual equipment

Office Assistant

Included but not limited to receive guests, students, faculty, and staff that visit EBS office; perform routine office functions including opening and closing duties, answering the phone, printing, copying, filing, distributing mail; take room requests and enter some reservations into the room scheduling software; maintain various office logs including equipment, vehicle, vending machine refunds, change orders.

Information Desk Attendant

Provide outstanding customer service by giving directions and information to visitors; operating cash register, credit card machine and MCard machine while observing customer’s privacy; preparing and serving food while observing food safety standards; using stringent cleaning practices with food service equipment, performing duties within Printing Services as needed.



Prepare and dispense alcohol and non-alcohol drinks; prepare and stock the bar prior to the event; maintain cleanliness of the bar area during the event; operate cash register, handle money, scale and portable beer dispenser; properly clean, weigh, and store liquor and other items after the event; ability to dispense alcohol in a responsible manner; ability to correctly determine the age of guests requesting alcohol; ability to visually assess and monitor the alcohol consumption patterns of guests; ability to inform guests tactfully that they can no longer receive alcohol service due to visible intoxication
