The Great Start Readiness Program falls under the \u201cPreK for All\u201d umbrella to provide high-quality education to all four year olds across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-c130edf01906b346329e002e60cbc1a8\"><strong>About the Program<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Child must be four years of age by Sept. 1, 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First day is Monday September 28, 2026 and the last day is May 26, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The program runs 34 weeks from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday\u2013Thursday.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Includes full meals (breakfast, lunch and p.m. snack).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Before\/After care and Friday care are available at tuition rates (signed contract needed).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Field trips are included at no cost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two home visits will occur, the first in September prior to the start of the program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two conferences will take place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-7ffd64d58b031b5048a8acbaa0b9ddb1\"><strong>Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Throughout the year, potential applicants will be directed to&nbsp; to fill out an In-Take Application for eligibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Priority will be given according to the eligibility and prioritization flow chart, with children with low family incomes served first (400% below FPL), followed by families with risk factors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Starting in the Spring, income-eligible families will be contacted to provide proof of income and the child\u2019s birth certificate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Those who provide documents in a timely manner will secure a spot.
