Dear Students,
I know you are receiving a lot of information at this time, and the information is changing as our current situation evolves. As we enter a time where all instruction will be virtual for the remainder of the academic year, the Center for Educator Preparation (CEP) has made changes to our operations.
It is our goal at this time to support you and your faculty while you are finishing the semester via virtual classroom space. Thus effective Monday March 16th, we have transitioned all of our resources and support services using an online approach for your ease and convenience.
In an effort to support your needs we are asking that all communication with the CEP be through the following:
Email: umflintteach@umich.edu
We will be checking this email regularly. Please use this email to schedule a virtual meeting with any of our staff or team. We will work with you to use a variety of tools to communicate with our team. You can also use this email to request information, resources, or connect with us at any time.
Our website: https://www.umflint.edu/cep
We will use our website to post general updates, host information and resources, and communicate formal information (we also be doing this via email).
Facebook: www.facebook.com/umflintteach
We will also be connecting and available via facebook messenger AND posting information on our facebook page.
Meetings: We will be using Zoom (a video conferencing platform) to conduct virtual appointments with students. Once you have scheduled the appointment we will email you with a confirmation and link to the Zoom meeting.
During this time, please know that we are here to support you and aid in keeping a connection to the university while you are off-campus completing the semester. We request your patience when asking questions and requesting support. We are working hard to support you and will do our best to answer the question or connect you with the faculty/staff member that is best suited to support you.
Take care,
The CEP TEam
