Office of Engaged Learning supports and connects University of Michigan-Flint students with hands-on learning and volunteer opportunities to advance community-engaged learning, teaching, and opportunity to influence the world around you&nbsp;on many levels&nbsp;simply by casting your vote in local, state, and national elections.<br><br>We&nbsp;want&nbsp;to make sure you know and understand your voting rights&nbsp;in Michigan and how to exercise them. We&nbsp;also want to provide&nbsp;information you need to make an educated vote, and help you choose the best candidates based on what matters most to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-9ee82df8ff09a7934453af178767a444\"><strong>Resources<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/govote.umich.edu\/\">Tri-Campus Initiatives<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mvic.sos.state.mi.us\/\">Michigan Voter Information Center<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.campusvoteproject.org\/stateguides\/Michigan\">Campus Vote Project<br><\/a>The CVP has developed state-specific guides to help students understand their rights and how to register and cast a ballot in their school or home community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rockthevote.org\/\">Rock the Vote<br><\/a>Voting rules and upcoming elections, important dates and deadlines, and access to democracy in your state<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vote411.org\/\">Vote 411<br><\/a>Launched by the League of Women Voters Education Fund, VOTE411.org is a &#8220;one-stop-shop&#8221; for election-related information. It provides nonpartisan information to the public with both general and state-specific information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/votesmart.org\/\">Vote Smart<br><\/a>Vote Smart&#8217;s mission is to provide free, factual, unbiased information on candidates and elected officials to all Americans. See where candidates stand on the issues that matter to you.
