By providing comprehensive information and guidance, we aim to reduce stress about financing your education so you can focus on your studies and confidently progress toward your goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-brand-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color has-x-large-font-size wp-elements-1143996d37c1bb65fa13ab37ae716b4c\">Announcements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Federal Student Loans&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A technical issue is currently preventing some accepted Federal Student Loans from showing up as &#8220;pending aid&#8221; in the Student Account Center. We are actively working to resolve this as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you have already accepted your loans: No action is needed. Your loans have not been canceled, and they will automatically display in your portal once the issue is resolved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have NOT accepted your loans yet: You can still accept them in your portal as normal. Once accepted, they will be applied to your account balance as soon as the display issue is fixed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Fall Financial Aid Refunds&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starting this fall, University policy requires a short holding period between the first aid disbursement and the distribution of financial aid refunds. This brief holding period allows our office to verify final course registration and ensure all charges are accurately calculated before issuing credit balances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First Aid Disbursement: August 14<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refund Processing Begins: August 18<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your financial aid creates a credit balance after your tuition and fees are paid, your refund will begin processing on or after August 18. Please keep in mind that depending on your bank, it may take a few additional business days for the funds to reflect in your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">SAVE Repayment Plan Officially Eliminated<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Borrowers on the SAVE repayment plan have 90 days to choose a new repayment plan; otherwise, they will be automatically assigned to a standard repayment plan. We recommend that students review their options. More information can be found on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/content.govdelivery.com\/accounts\/MILEAP\/bulletins\/411e0ce\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MiLEAP site<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">The One Big Beautiful Bill Act and Changes to Financial Aid&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Various anticipated changes will impact student aid programs and eligibility.
