Recreation Center

The gym floor is closed now through March 8. In addition, all fitness classes (except those in the pool) are canceled today through March 7. The entire recreation center will be closed March 5 and March 6. 

Thompson Library

CNN will begin broadcasting from a studio built inside Thompson Library on Friday, March 4. The Library will remain open, but some areas will have restricted access. Also, please note construction of the CNN set may be ongoing today also.


Lot A and Mill Street Parking ramp, both located near the Recreation Center will be closed, except to media and UM-Flint staff who are working as part of the debate team. All other campus parking lots as well as the Harrison and University Pavilion ramps will be open for normal use and remain open all weekend.

Debate Watch Party
Doors open at 7 p.m. at the Northbank Center Ballroom. The debate and live polling begins at 8 p.m. Free. Everyone is welcome.

UM-Flint Ice Rink
The UM-Flint Ice Rink will be open as usual this weekend.
