Leslie Smith, PT, DPT

Clinical Assistant Professor

Education: Utica College, DPT, University of Michigan-Flint, MPT

What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love teaching and I love physical therapy so my current position allows me to help future clinicians have that same love and passion for this great profession.

Who has had the greatest influence on your career?
I have work with several excellent clinicians and educators throughout the years and have learned so much for many different people.  The greatest influence has been my brother.  He is an RN and is very passionate about patient care.  He has taught me that being a caring clinician and advocate for patients is the most important job we have in health care.
