As a UM-Flint graduate student, you’ll have access to a range of support services to help you make the most of your time, stay focused on your studies, accommodate your schedule, and reach your goals.

Office of Graduate Programs: Located on campus, the Office of Graduate Programs is here to provide information about UM-Flint’s excellent graduate programs, assist with the application and admission process, provide general academic advising, connect you to specific programs, and answer your questions. Academic Advising: Contact your specific graduate program to schedule academic advising directed at helping you choose your courses, complete your graduate degree requirements as quickly as possible, and reach your goals. The Office of Graduate Programs also provides general advising during our office hours.

Graduate Student Research Assistantships: Graduate Student Research Assistantships provide graduate students the unique opportunity to collaborate with faculty and fellow students on groundbreaking research projects while earning monthly stipends.

Campus Services: UM-Flint offers a wide range of campus services and conveniences to help you stay productive and support your success as you pursue your graduate degree. Transfer Credits: Some graduate credits earned at other institutions may transfer toward your UM-Flint degree. Learn more about our transfer policies

Graduate Theses Instructions: Starting Fall 2016, all graduate students at UM-Flint must complete a specific process to submit their graduate thesis for binding and for inclusion in ProQuest, Deep Blue, and Google Scholar.
