Additionally, you must select a faculty member who serves as your advisor. With their support, you compose a well-researched paper and then conduct an oral defense of your thesis before a faculty panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>non-thesis track<\/strong>, you must complete eight additional credits in graduate-level electives.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alternatively, you can enroll in an independent graduate study course that allows you to complete a research project related to solving a computer science problem. Applicants who do not meet the minimum GPA requirements may be offered admission. In such cases, admission depends heavily on other indices of the student\u2019s ability to handle graduate-level work.
