The Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance is responsible for ensuring compliance by UM-Flint campus with laws relating to employment, human resources, health, safety, environment, and public safety.
The Environment, Health, and Safety Department operationally supports compliance by UM-Flint with laws related to health, safety, hazardous activities, and environmental protection and permitting, in conjunction with the U-M Department of Environmental, Health, & Safety in Ann Arbor.
The Department of Public Safety helps maintain a safe and secure environment at UM-Flint, through monitoring and enforcing criminal behavior against people and property, and ensuring compliance with crime reporting obligations.
Flint’s University Human Resources team operationally supports compliance by UM-Flint with laws related to equity, diversity and employment issues, in conjunction with University Human Resources in Ann Arbor.
