Computing Facilities and Labs
ITS supports numerous computer labs on the UM-Flint campus for both general and instructional use. All registered students, faculty and staff are allowed to use the open computing labs. A valid computer account including a uniqname and LAN (UM-Flint) password are needed to be able to utilize a computer in any of the labs.
Mcards
ITS, CS, Helpdesk, and Public safety work together to provide campus ID cards (MCards).
Mediated Classroom Services and Equipment Checkout
Classroom Services (CS) engineers campus computer labs and mediated classrooms; maintains classroom equipment; provides training on supported equipment and evaluates user satisfaction with instructional applications; supports students, faculty, and staff in the use of multimedia applications for the classroom; and oversees distribution of mobile computer classrooms.
Papercut Print Queuing System
Students can print from any of the campus labs using Papercut Print Queuing. Students get 400 print credits every semester that they are enrolled in classes. Leftover credits are rolled over until the end of Summer Semester, when they expire. Color pages cost 6 credits each; Black and white pages cost 1 credit each. Additional credits can be purchased at the ITS Store online.

On March 25, 2017, ITS Infrastructure - Ann Arbor will be transitioning U-M Flint from the current Exchange Voicemail service to Cisco Unity Voicemail Service. Below are links to the instructions on how to get started with your new voicemail service and information regarding who you should contact for support.
Voicemails currently housed in the Exchange Voicemail Service will only be available until April 25, 2017. If you have voicemails that you would like to retain beyond that date, please forward them to email using the instructions provided in the Cisco Unity link.
New telephone service, questions about Cisco Unity voicemail, contact centers or Cisco Finesse, as well as changes to existing telephone services or individual technical difficulties (static, etc.) should be reported directly to the ITS Infrastructure - Ann Arbor Telecommunications Analysts. Campus-wide outages should be reported to ITS at (810) 762-3123.
