Through our innovative dual enrollment programs, high school students can earn college credits and experience university-level academics while still completing their high school These DEEP courses are conveniently scheduled as part of students&#8217; regular high school day and are delivered at local high schools, on the UM-Flint campus, or synchronously online. Most students enroll in two courses each semester\u2014two in the fall and two in the winter\u2014allowing them to earn up to 12 college credits in a single academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Early College Program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Juniors from select partner school districts can participate in our three-year Early College program, which fits seamlessly into their high school schedules. Early College courses are delivered in a cohort model and take place at local high schools, on the UM-Flint campus, or synchronously online. Students typically take two courses each semester\u2014two in the fall and two in the winter\u2014earning 12 college credits in both their junior and senior years. During a fifth year of high school, students complete an additional 24 college credits focused on their intended major, either on the UM-Flint campus or online. Upon completion, students graduate with their high school diploma and a substantial head start on their college education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Traditional Dual Enrollment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">High school students from any Michigan school district, with their district&#8217;s approval, can take advantage of dual enrollment at UM-Flint. Students may enroll in tuition-discounted UM-Flint courses\u2014offered on campus or online\u2014that fit within their high school schedule and meet graduation requirements.
