That is why we are proud to partner with school districts across Southeastern Michigan to provide exceptional opportunities for K-12 students. Through our comprehensive dual enrollment programs and engaging campus events, UM-Flint faculty and staff work closely with teachers and administrators to help students explore college-level academics and campus life while still in high school. These DEEP courses are conveniently scheduled as part of students\u2019 regular high school day and are delivered at local high schools, on the UM-Flint campus, or synchronously online. Most students enroll in two courses each semester\u2014two in the fall and two in the winter\u2014allowing them to earn up to 12 college credits in a single academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-faf5f1e66f8706e1eb8d1bc40bb4e200\"><strong>Early College Program&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Juniors from select partner school districts have the opportunity to participate in our three-year Early College program, which is designed to fit seamlessly into their high school schedules. Early College courses are delivered in a cohort model and take place at local high schools, on the UM-Flint campus, or synchronously online. Students typically take two courses each semester\u2014two in the fall and two in the winter\u2014earning 12 college credits in both their junior and senior years. During a fifth year of high school, students complete an additional 24 college credits focused on their intended major, either on the UM-Flint campus or online. Upon completion, students graduate with their high school diploma and a substantial head start on their college education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-a98db7036347f2403a0f5fa38bf5aa3c\"><strong>Traditional Dual Enrollment&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>High school students from any Michigan school district, with the approval of their district, can take advantage of dual enrollment at UM-Flint. Students may enroll in tuition-discounted UM-Flint courses\u2014offered on campus or online\u2014that fit within their high school schedule and meet graduation requirements.
