Your Teaching Future Starts
at the University of Michigan-Flint
You’re dedicated, caring, resilient and passionate about helping young people maximize their potential. UM-Flint’s Master of Arts in Secondary Education with Certification program equips you with the tools and experiences to make an impact in the classroom in just two years or less!
The MAC program is built for learners who desire to make a pivot to the teaching profession – while a bachelor’s degree is required for admission, it does not need to be in education. You can utilize your prior learning and life experiences as you work toward your teacher certification. Michigan has faced a sharp decline in both current teachers and aspiring educators, meaning now is the perfect time to become an in-demand professional while making a difference in local schools.
UM-Flint is here to help you gain the knowledge and skills to become a life-changing educator in a flexible format.
