Maris K. Gilles, BA
My educational background includes a B.A. degree in Social Science with a focus on organizational and personnel psychology, interpersonal and social psychology, and complex organizations. I started my professional tenure on the University of Michigan's Ann Arbor campus working with students, alumni, and faculty in the Literature, Science, and Arts Honors Program from 1988-1990, then in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering from 1990-1996. In 1996, I transferred to the UM-Flint campus where I worked as an Academic Advisor/Counselor before transitioning to my current position as Program Manager for all undergraduating nursing programs.
As an institution, I consider it our civic responsibility to do everything possible to ensure we prepare our students to graduate and be gainfully employed in their chosen field. Within the School of Nursing, I can provide program specifics for the Traditional BSN Program (including Nursing Direct Admission for high school seniors), Accelerated BSN Program, and the RN to BSN Program.
