How many can I receive?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes! UM-Flint awards&nbsp;<em>up to 30 transfer credits<\/em>&nbsp;for students with a valid nursing license, which is obtained after you pass the NCLEX. However, these credits are not granted immediately upon admission. You will receive up to 30 credits once you have both:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Passed the nursing license exam and submitted your valid nursing license to your advisor.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Completed at least one successful semester at UM-Flint in the RN to BSN program.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If your license is from outside Michigan or your admissions name does not match your LARA records, just email your advisor a copy so your information stays up-to-date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you haven\u2019t passed the NCLEX yet, you can still start nursing foundation and general education courses, but you must have your license before enrolling in 400-level nursing classes.
