Michigan teachers seeking certification renewal will be eligible to receive&nbsp;<strong>State Continuing Education Clock Hours<\/strong>. SCECHs will be uploaded to the Michigan Department.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-849f31e37e24d8b80274555f64c65d0c\"><strong>Course Evaluation and Continuing Education Units<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All participants will receive a certificate of completion within 24 hours of completion from the automated certificate program; of Education\u2019s Secure Central Registry the week following the course end dates.<br><br>These courses offer real-life examples. All courses are offered online and can be completed at any time during the course dates. There are both free and commercial screencasting software programs which enable you to record everything happening on your screen; point, click, scroll, navigate and such an application can follow your every action. This online class introduces you to ways of how you may use screencasts in educational or training settings and enables you to put your skills into action by learning how to use Jing, a free screencasting program. This course requires 10 hours of coursework that must be completed during the allotted timeframe. While WordPress is predominantly used for blog-style sites, it\u2019s also a fully featured content management system that allows you to create and organize static pages.&nbsp;So whether you want to make a static portfolio site or a frequently updated blog, you\u2019ll have all the tools you need to succeed (and look good doing it!).
