Student Involvement and Leadership's goal is to offer opportunities for students to:

  • Develop life skills and an understanding of one’s values, interests, and goals
  • Think critically and creatively, solve problems and develop new ideas
  • Be inclusive of people with various identities and perspectives, while embracing a diverse campus community

UM-Flint's Alternative Breaks Program

Alternative Breaks is a co-curricular program through the Office of University Outreach that aims to provide deeper learning opportunities for students, faculty and alumni through community engagement.

    • Takes place in August at a location TBD
