Place matters as Michigan rethinks its path to restoring prosperity in the 21st century. The value of places depends very much on the diversity and beauty of the natural resources unique to Michigan. Assuring great places is one way to unite the natural resources and community assets of our region and our state. In partnership with students, faculty, and external partners, University Outreach guides citizens, communities, and organizations in land conservation, water resource protection, and trail and recreation development.
