Karen Davis, BA
Ms. Davis joined the PT Department in May 2015 and currently serves as the Department Office Manager overseeing the daily operations of the department. She is responsible for supporting the department Director, Department Management Team, and the Associate Directors for Research and Civic Engagement. She serves as staff supervisor and is also responsible for capital equipment purchases and maintenance. She serves as the departmental liaison for coordination of departmental needs with the College of Health Sciences Budget and Finance, Personnel, and Grant and Contract Administrators.
Ms. Davis is a graduate of Michigan State University with BA in Audiology and Speech Science.
Mr. Fanzone joined the PT Department in February 2017 as the Administrative Assistant Senior for the Professional DPT program. He has over 15 years of experience with the University of Michigan system in administrative work, financials, event planning and is currently attending the University of Michigan Flint to complete his Bachelor’s degree. He supports the Associate Director of Professional Education and the administrative development of the Professional DPT Program. Responsibilities include department and student support, which includes the Professional DPT admission process, event planning, curriculum development committee and assisting faculty, staff and students in any capacity as needed.
Yulelissa Munger, BBA
Ms. Munger is the Clinical Education Administrative Assistant Senior. Ms. Munger holds a Bachelor’s of Business Management from Davenport University. Her responsibilities include clinical education coordination with the Associate Director for Professional Education, Associate Director for Clinical Education, Center Coordinators for Clinical Education and Clinical Instructors. Ms. Munger also assists the Business Administrator with financial, human resources and other University processes as needed. Other responsibilities include logistical planning for clinical education, assistance and coordination with student scholarships and faculty as needed in order to provide department efficiency.
Mrs. Ruber is the Secretary for the PT Department and joined the department in February 2013. Beverly possesses more than 25 years of progressive experience in the secretarial field. She works closely with the director and business administrator, faculty and students; assisting in the daily operations and communications of the department. Responsibilities include department and student support, event planning, curriculum scheduling and assists faculty, staff and students in any capacity as needed.
Christina Wixson, MA
Ms. Wixson is the Program Coordinator for the Post Professional Programs and joined the department in November of 2008. She works closely with the Associate Directors of the Post-Professional Transitional DPT, Non Degree Programs and the PhD in PT program. She maintains the PT Department website as well as catalog. She assists the Business Administrator with university processes as needed. She provides student enrollment and financial advising, collaborates with the Graduate Office relative to the overall marketing plan design and implementation. She also assists the faculty and staff in any capacity needed in order to promote department efficiency.
