"I graduated in the summer of 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Michigan - Flint. I started working for Michigan Medicine in laboratory customer service in November 2015. From there I moved up relatively fast thanks to my degree, and in April of 2017, I was promoted to Senior Administrative Assistant in Pathology. In July of 2019, I was promoted to Administrative Specialist in the Office of the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Michigan Medicine. In January 2020, I started the MBA program from UM - Flint, and I will be eligible to apply for several health care administration fellowship programs. My Healthcare Administration education has allowed me to help with special projects related to reducing costs and improving quality, streamlining data collection and reporting, and operationalizing our hospital command center during times of crisis. Furthering my education has been a great investment and has given me the foundation to pole-vault my career milestones. GO BLUE!"
