The Department of Public Health & Health Sciences (PHHS) offers six minors in various areas of healthcare. Each of these minors can make an excellent complement to your undergraduate major, even if you are not majoring in a healthcare field. Examples of non-healthcare majors that can be complemented by a healthcare minor include business, communication, economics, accounting, and social work. Talk to your advisor to decide if one of these minors is right for you.
If you are a student in one of our undergraduate programs (clinical laboratory science/medical technology, health care administration, health sciences, public health, or radiation therapy), talk to your advisor about double-counting some credits between your major and minor.
