About the SRC Journal of Student Research

Students who present at the Flint Student Research Conference are also eligible to submit their research for publication in the conference's proceedings, more formally referred to as the Journal of Student Research.

The journal is available for electronic viewing and downloading. To view the manuscripts, click on any of the e-Journals listed below. Visit the "Table of Contents" sections to access the individual manuscripts for that year's publication.

Submission Guidelines

  • The deadline to submit your publication is Friday, June 29, 2019.
  • All papers must be submitted in Microsoft Word.
  • The text of all manuscripts must be no more than 25 double-spaced pages typed in 10-12 point font size with one-inch margins.
  • Images and graphs may be incorporated into the text where possible.
  • The bibliography and citations should conform to the guidelines appropriate to your field. Information about various citation styles is available online, including the Online Writing Lab (OWL), a great research from Purdue University.
  • Faculty endorsement is required for all submissions. After you submit your paper, an email will be sent to your faculty sponsor requesting their endorsement. Only papers that have been endorsed by a faculty sponsor will be accepted.
