Project Title: Determining the Best Reading Practices for Tutoring Writing

Project Description: This study will determine the best method for improving a student paper and student engagement in the tutorial by examining three different methods for reading student work in the writing center tutorial sessions. The study will survey the tutors and writers about their experiences and a limited number of tutorial sessions will be audio recorded and transcribed. The transcripts will be coded and analyzed to determine tutorial sessions efficacy and what was addressed.
