Clinical Innovation<\/a><\/li><li class=\"breadcrumb-item active\" aria-current=\"page\">Rules and Codes of Conduct<\/li><\/ol><\/nav>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rules &amp; Codes of Conduct<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I will treat the CSCI like a real clinical environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I understand that mistakes made in the CSCI are considered learning opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In order to improve my clinical reasoning and enhance my learning experience, I will<br>treat all experiences and interactions in the CSCI as though it is a REAL situation and\/or<br>patient!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In order to get the most out of the Simulation-Based Experience (SBE), I will complete<br>any pre\/post-assigned learning activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I will follow the UM-Flint School of Nursing dress code for clinical learning when<br>attending SBEs in the CSCI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I will not have food or beverages outside of the CSCI conference areas or debrief rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I understand that students are not authorized to remove the supplies from the CSCI for<br>any reason. Further, I understand that students who violate this instruction will be<br>subject to the Student Conduct Policy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any feedback I give to peers will be constructive in nature and intended to support<br>others in the development of skills, critical thinking, and professionalism.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I understand that I may be required to complete a post-simulation evaluation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I understand that the defibrillators in the CSCI deliver REAL energy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General Rules of Professional Engagement in the CSCI:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I will turn OFF my cellphone while participating in any SBE unless otherwise approved<br>by my faculty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I will never use excessive force with the human patient simulators or patient care<br>equipment.
