School of Nursing Center for Simulation and Clinical Innovation is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the exception of holidays and\/or as otherwise posted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On most weekdays CSCI is closed Monday through Friday 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Can I have food or drink in the building?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, however, food and drink of any kind is only permitted in the Debrief Rooms. Please do not bring food or drink into any simulation room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">What should I wear for my Simulation-Based Experience?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please refer to rule number four in CSCI Code of Conduct. \u201cI will follow the UM-Flint School of Nursing dress code for clinical when attending SBEs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Where can I find the Rules and Code of Conduct?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can find the Rules and Code of Conduct on CSCI intranet website and posted on the wall by the door in each Debrief Room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">When should I arrive for my Simulation-Based Experience?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow for any unknowns. Plan ahead for inclement weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Who can reserve a Simulation-Based Experience, program, or skills event?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Course Lead Faculty only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simulation spaces must be requested via the Program Request Form. This form can be found on CSCI intranet website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meeting spaces must be requested via the Meeting Space Request Form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Who can reserve the meeting\/debriefing spaces?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open to all University of Michigan students, faculty, or staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meeting\/Debriefing spaces must be requested via the Meeting Space Request Form. However, after the semester schedule has been mapped out by CSCI leadership, all subsequent requests will be on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to space and staff availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Can I use the facility for student skill remediation as Lead Faculty?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, you as the Lead Faculty can request a remediation session for your student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Student remediation must be requested via the Clinical Remediation and Student Evaluation Request Form. This form can be found on CSCI intranet website. All remediation requests are subject to space, equipment, and faculty and staff availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Can I borrow a manikin, model, task trainer, or equipment for an event?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, but only if it is for demonstration and\/or training purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An equipment sign-out sheet is provided for tracking. Please contact James McTiernan or Ron Streetman before your arrival to check out equipment so CSCI Team can prepare your items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Can I use the equipment on live humans for treatment, screenings, or diagnosis?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No, the equipment owned by CSCI is not intended for human use.
