This survey helped us articulate a set of institutional values that will guide our approach to mission-aligned work and help achieve our vision.&nbsp; Responses to this initial survey:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Guided development of a follow-up survey that\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Affirmed our current mission statement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Selected a more future-focused vision statement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generated a word cloud of our institutional values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>See the Data and Input section of this website for a summary and analysis of the survey data collected.&nbsp; See the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umflint.edu\/strategic-planning\/components\/\">Strategic Plan Components<\/a> section of this website for the mission and vision statements and the institutional values word cloud that will be part of our strategic plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a4ff27b727fe6f3fde260f179bb728c9\">Strategic Planning Process Feedback<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In late December 2025, two listening sessions were held to gather campus input on the strategic planning process.\u00a0 The link below provides notes from these listening sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button mb-3\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-secondary-color has-primary-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.umflint.edu\/strategic-planning\/listening-session\/\">Listening Session Summary Notes<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-510977ac9fb94f6b7675c91ee5c16fb2\">Identification of Strategic Plan Themes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The UM-Flint community was invited to participate in one of six brainstorming sessions in February 2026 to identify the highest-priority themes to be incorporated into the UM-Flint strategic plan. Summaries from these sessions will be posted soon on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umflint.edu\/strategic-planning\/data-and-input\/\">Data and Input page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-secondary-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-secondary-background-color has-background\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-81054dd1a138a4b704920816e2d0b436\">Candidate Goal Feedback Survey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In early April 2026, campus stakeholders were invited to provide feedback on 22 candidate goals that were inspired by the new UM-Flint vision and informed by feedback collected during the February engagement sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b5ad0746151d237c9fa8224f6e0284c3\">Goal Refinement Open Forum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite you to join us on April 29 from 1\u20132:30 p.m. in UCEN Michigan Room D or via Zoom.
