Dropping Courses<\/li><\/ol><\/nav>\n\n\n<p>If you add a course(s), the tuition and fees associated with the course(s) will be added to your student account. You can view your account activity by term in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pay.umflint.edu\/\"><strong>Student Account Center<\/strong><\/a>. When referencing the Academic Calendar, you need to be mindful of the class or classes you are taking as well as the Part of Term for each individual course. The Academic Calendar now has multiple pages based on the various parts of term offered for that semester.<br><br><strong>Dropping Course(s)<br><\/strong>If you drop a course or withdraw (drop all courses) there may be a monetary adjustment to your student account. Please refer to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.umflint.edu\/registrar\/semester-calendars\"><strong>Academic Calendar<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for specific dates and times that will help determine what your monetary adjustment may be to your student account.<br><br>Students who drop courses after the add\/drop deadline will receive a \u201cW\u201d grade for each course dropped.<br><br>If you are receiving financial aid, you will need to check with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.umflint.edu\/finaid\/office-financial-aid\"><strong>Office of Financial Aid<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to see if they will be doing any adjustments to your aid as a result of dropping or withdrawing.<br><br><strong>Withdrawal<br><\/strong>Students who wish to withdraw from the university (i.e., drop all courses) must do so by the final drop deadline. Courses affected by a withdrawal will receive \u201cW\u201d grades. Non Attendance of courses does not result in an automatic withdrawal.<br><br>If you withdraw (drop all courses) there may be a monetary adjustment to your student account. The deadline for submitting a fee appeal is 90 days after the end of the semester being appealed. Information and <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1rhNnp599urVKpAAWqd_lh53JyS3SjwLVRo-Jxz1NOxA\/edit\"><strong>fee appeal forms<\/strong><\/a> may be obtained from Cashiers\/Student Accounts.
