The University of Michigan-Flint has an active institutional membership with Magna Publications, Inc. This membership allows faculty access to The Teaching Professor and the 20-Minute Mentor Commons.
The Teaching Professor is a forum for discussion of the best strategies supported by the latest research for effective teaching in the college classroom. It is edited by respected scholar and expert Dr. Maryellen Weimer of Penn State Berks.
The 20-Minute Mentor Commons offers on-demand versions of Magna's popular 20-Minute Mentor Programs that cover a broad range of faculty development topics.
Each individual UM-Flint faculty member will need to activate their own subscription access. To receive activation instructions, please complete the online request form.
