Supply Chain Management Curriculum

The MS in Supply Chain Management curriculum consists of core and elective courses designed to enhance your understanding of the business landscape, the intricacies and logistics of the supply chain, and effective practices relating specifically to overseeing work in supply chain management.

From diving into advanced business analytics and learning to make data-driven decisions to becoming skilled in risk management to identify and mitigate threats, our program expands your expertise and provides practical strategies for managing all aspects of the supply chain. Your master’s program culminates in a hands-on capstone experience. Additional Degree Completion Information

Students with a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management may be eligible to waive two courses from the program based on courses taken during their undergraduate degree program. In such cases, students may be asked to replace those waived courses with elective courses from the SCM program.

  • Students with a business or other relevant degree can waive up to nine credit hours if they have taken two relevant undergraduate courses for each graduate-level course they wish to waive.
  • Students wishing to transfer from other graduate-level programs can waive up to nine credit hours if the SCM faculty approves their existing coursework to be equivalent to MS in SCM courses.
  • Micromasters MITx students can complete the MS in SCM by transferring their micro master’s courses for nine or 12 credit hours, as detailed below:

To apply to our Master of Science in Supply Chain Management program, please submit all of the application materials outlined below:

This program can be completed 100% online or on campus with in-person courses. Students living abroad may also complete this program online in their home country. For other non-immigrant visa holders currently in the United States, please contact the Center for Global Engagement at [email protected].

As a new academic degree, this program is not currently accepting applications from international students seeking an F-1 visa. This program will accept applications from international students who must have an I-20 as soon as authorization from the Department of Homeland Security is received.
