Meet Quinn Counseller

OTD/MBA
Quinn Counseller earned a 4.0 GPA in both of her UM-Flint graduate degrees — a Doctor of Occupational Therapy and an MBA with a concentration in health care management — and she’s put both to work building something of her own. In December 2023, she founded Neuroplastic Rehab LLC, an in-home occupational therapy and vocational rehab practice serving clients with traumatic brain injuries, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, ALS, and other neurological conditions across Metro Detroit. The practice has since grown to a team of a dozen, expanded into Lansing and Ann Arbor, and earned Counseller a spot in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.
“I’m excited to continue expanding access to high-quality neurological occupational and vocational therapy while building a strong foundation for our next stage of growth,” she said.
It’s the kind of outcome her dual degree was built for. As a student at UM-Flint, Counseller trained at the HEART clinic and saw firsthand how often patients were denied the equipment and care they needed — which pushed her to pair her clinical training with the business skills to do something about it. The result: a growing practice built entirely around getting patients the care they deserve.
