Since its founding in 1956, the University of Michigan-Flint has been shaped by leaders who guided the institution through periods of growth, change and opportunity. Each chancellor has helped advance the university’s mission of expanding access to a Michigan education while strengthening its impact in Flint and beyond. Together, their leadership reflects the evolving story of a campus committed to academic excellence, community partnership and the success of its students.
