Scholarship Opportunity

The C.S. Mott Engaged Learning Scholarship's purpose is to support global and domestic engaged learning opportunities (internships) for all students, regardless of financial status. Engaged learning encompasses a wide range of valuable experiences such as internships, industry-based classroom projects, and various other hands-on learning endeavors related to the student's career field. Students who are currently participating or planning to take part in an engaged learning experiences are encouraged to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship is a one-time award of $500-$1500.  

Deadlines are March 15, June 15, September 15, and December 15.

The Career Center offers comprehensive career and professional development services to UM-Flint students and alumni. An array of programs and services ranging from individual career advising and interactive online programs, the annual career/internship fairs and experiential education opportunities are intended to move students through a self and career discovery process intended to equip them for the 21st century workforce. To discuss your individual career path, schedule an appointment with a career advisor.

Careers 4 Years

The Career Center's Careers 4 Years program will guide you towards success for your future career. Students who complete the suggested Careers 4 Years tasks will position themselves to have a wide range of professional skills and connections.
