Our resilient students have remained committed to their goals and have earned their degrees from UM-Flint. On behalf of the faculty, staff, students and alums, we are proud of our graduates!

Important Information

  • The ceremony will be held in the Dort Financial Center on December 13. 
  • Dort Financial Center is located at 3501 Lapeer Rd, Flint, MI 48503
  • Parking will cost $10 per vehicle and is cash only.
  • There is no guest limit; however, guest seating is first-come, first-served.
  • For questions or additional information, contact Kathy Thompson at kathytho@umich.edu.

Checklist

  1. Apply to graduate by August 28. Questions? Contact the Registrar’s Office.
  2. Confirm your information in SIS is correct. Your diploma will be mailed to the address on file.
  3. Watch your email for information from the Office of the Chancellor 
  4. Have guests who need accommodations? Complete the Accommodation Form.
  5. Purchase your regalia. The UM-Flint Bookstore is happy to help!
  6. Commence! Arrive at the Dort Financial Center at least 45 minutes before your ceremony.
  7. Tell us what’s next! Complete your First Destination Survey – contact Career Services with any questions.
