Purchasing Photos
To purchase the photos taken at the commencement ceremonies please go to: gradimages.com where you can access your photos by searching your name. If you have any issues regarding your purchase please call Grad Images at (800) 261-2576.
Purchasing Regalia and Other Commencement Items
The Barnes and Noble Campus Bookstore is your best option for ordering your cap and gown to mark this important occasion. The bookstore also carries a selection of other items such as diploma frames, announcements, and other mementos of your time at UM-Flint. Contact the bookstore at (810)762-3030 with your questions.
Borrowing Regalia
Regalia can be borrowed for a limited time. Please contact Samara Hough or Sarah Devitt in the Center for Gender & Sexuality for details.
Commencement Honor Cords
University of Michigan-Flint undergraduate students may walk in commencement ceremonies with honor cords if they have applied to graduate and have a 3.5 GPA. Courses in progress are excluded from GPA calculations. Eligible students completing their degrees in August may choose to participate in either the April or the December ceremony.
Honors are officially posted to the transcript and diploma based on the GPA calculation following the final audit and degree conferral. Walking with honor cords at commencement does not guarantee honors will be posted to the transcript and diploma.
Typically Honor Cords are distributed at an Honors Convocation or Commencement Ceremony.
