Challenge Examination and Assessment
There are two types of Challenge Examinations:
Internal University Examination
To be awarded academic credit for the course through an internal University of Michigan-Flint examination, the student must demonstrate sufficient mastery as determined by the discipline and program faculty.
Professional Organization Examination
If students are using a professional examination established and administered by a professional organization, the student must achieve the “passing” score established by the professional organization.
The CPL Coordinator’s signature on your application does not signify approval of credit. It only documents the CPL Coordinator’s permission to apply for CPL Assessment.
Important Deadline: CPL Applications and Approvals must be submitted by the 10th day of each Part of Term.
