Survivor Support

Confidential Support and Advocacy

What is an Advocate?

An advocate is someone who provides a safe and confidential space for you to process a difficult experience, share resources, and information and speak to other support services on your behalf.  If you are unsure about what steps to take in reporting an incident of sexual or gender-based violence, speak with our confidential Sexual Assault Advocate or CGS Director for support.

  • Survivor resources and support for non-offending friends and family members
  • Center staff is available for confidential conversations to learn more about services for survivors of sexual violence, visit our Creating Safer Spaces page.

As a center, we partner with several campus and community-based services including the YWCA Greater Flint to support our students.
