Welcome Events Fall 2026

Starting Aug. 21, 2026

New and returning students can participate in welcome events and explore upcoming programs designed to help make campus feel like a place you want to be—not just somewhere you go to class. These events include move-in days, new student mixers, Maize & Blue Days activities, and involvement fairs. They provide great opportunities to meet new people, discover valuable resources, and begin building your experience at UM-Flint.

During the first few days of each semester, you will also see Ask Me Stations set up around campus. These tables are staffed by people who are ready to help with quick questions, like finding a classroom, understanding your schedule, or locating key offices, so your first days on campus feel supported instead of stressful.
