Student Caregiver Resources & Support
Balancing college with caregiving responsibilities can be challenging. Whether you are a parent, providing assistance to a family member, or fulfilling other caregiving roles, you are not alone. We offer resources and tools to support you.

Student Caregiver Support
How we support you
The Center for Gender & Sexuality supports student caregivers by helping you navigate campus and community resources, connect with relevant offices and find the support you need. CGS can also help you understand your options and advocate for yourself if you feel you are being treated unfairly due to pregnancy, parenting, or caregiving responsibilities. While CGS does not investigate discrimination or provide formal accommodations, staff can talk through your situation, explain available resources, and connect you with the appropriate support offices.
Email CGS at cgs.umflint@umich.edu to get started.
Reporting Options
Incidents involving Title IX or sexual and gender-based misconduct are addressed by the Equity, Civil Rights & Title IX Office.
If you believe you have experienced discrimination and would like to file a report, you can submit a discrimination or harassment report through the ECRT system.
