History of the School of Management
The School of Management (SOM), established in 1975, is the oldest professional school at the University of Michigan-Flint, and is located on the second floor of the Riverfront Center. Continue to read full history.
The UM-Flint School of Management produces an annual business magazine. The focus of the 2023 magazine is the Strategic Transformation in the School. Highlighted story is how we are strategizing, implementing, and transforming business education in Flint, Michigan, and surrounding areas. The 2023 magazine also includes compelling stories of student achievement, profiles of successful alumni, research highlights of faculty, and donor highlights.
