Wolverine Welcome is the next step following Orientation for all incoming first-year and transfer students. During this day-long program, you can connect with your new classmates, enjoy some free food, and explore the campus!

Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. in the first-floor lobby of the Murchie Science Building Extension.

The Chancellor’s Barbeque is immediately after the Wolverine Welcome. New students are invited to meet the new Chancellor, Dr. Alexander, with campus faculty and staff.

This event begins at 4 p.m. in the University Pavilion.

6 p.m.

Immediately following the Chancellor’s BBQ, all new students, their families, and supporters are invited to the New Student Convocation. This is the beginning of your academic experience, and we are excited to celebrate with you.

The event begins at 6 p.m. in the University of Michigan-Flint Theatre, located on the first floor of French Hall.

Register today to attend these events! Attendance at all three events is recommended to help maximize your journey. If you are only able to attend one or two of the events, please register for those using the same form.
