Meet the Staff
Melanie Beland
Certified Personal Trainer (NASM), National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), and Senior Fitness Specialist (ACE). I help clients build functional strength, balance, and mobility so that everyday activities feel easier and safer. As a woman navigating midlife changes, I understand the unique challenges women face with energy, hormones, and confidence. My coaching focuses on practical movement, whole-person wellness, and encouragement so you can stay strong, independent, and thriving at every age. I also specialize in simple, sustainable nutrition coaching to support strength, recovery, and long-term health.
John Miller
Doctor of Physical Therapy student at the University of Michigan-Flint and a former collegiate baseball player at Siena Heights University, bringing a unique blend of athletic and clinical precision to my coaching. As a Champion Performance Specialist (C-PS) and Certified Personal Trainer, I specialize in the intersection of clinical rehab, strength training, aesthetics, and athletics.
My experience spans a wide range, from 7-year-old athletes to 80-year-olds seeking to maintain functional independence.
My philosophy centers on a data-driven, evidence-based approach: by utilizing biomechanical assessments to bridge the gap between performance and longevity, I help clients build resilient bodies that can achieve peak results while staying pain-free.
Steven Sterlitz
Involved in strength training, conditioning, and athletics for over a decade! I hold a Bachelorโs degree in Movement Science from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and am currently enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Michigan-Flint.
As a personal trainer, I focus on smart, sustainable training because fitness is not one-size-fits-all. My approach blends strength training, movement quality, and research-backed principles to help you build a resilient body that not only looks strong, but also moves and feels strong.
While I work with a wide range of clients, my areas of expertise include injury prevention, rehabilitation-focused training, bodybuilding, powerlifting and sports performance.
