Comprehensive. Convenient. Respected.

UM-Flint student working towards a BBA in general business

The general business major provides students with a broad business background and great flexibility to choose their course of study. Elective options from accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, international business, operations and supply chain, and management allow students to customize their curriculum according to their interests and needs.

The program's online format leverages innovative technologies that ensure meaningful faculty-student interaction. It accommodates the learning styles and schedules of today's busy students—whether those students are starting as freshmen or taking advantage of transferable credits earned at another institution. The program is also available in a traditional, face-to-face format.

Faculty teaching general business courses have practical work experience that enhances the online learning environment. Like all University of Michigan instructors, they have a passion for education and years of teaching and mentorship experience.
