Since its founding nearly one hundred years ago, the U-M Club of Greater Flint has proudly served our community and sought opportunities to inspire and aid University of Michigan students. Thanks to our donors, we have been able to create an immeasurable impact through numerous initiatives, and we look to you once again for your continued support.

Last year, the U-M Club of Greater Flint pledged $50,000 to support the Club Hub, part of the Murchie Science Building (MSB) expansion on the UM-Flint campus. We are happy to announce that the Club Hub is officially open, and you can view a video of the completed expansion of MSB here. We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to you as a donor and ask that you continue your support by making a gift today.

The MSB expansion added approximately 61,000 square feet of state-of-the-art learning space and cutting-edge facilities to meet the demands of rapidly growing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs. The Club Hub provides a space where STEM clubs on campus can meet and develop leadership skills, experience networking opportunities, and find social and emotional support from fellow students. The space will play an important role in student success by creating a sense of belonging and increasing the likelihood of retention and graduation.

Your gift to the Club Hub will fund research equipment, classroom technology, K-12 outreach activities, and student tutoring. When you give, the U-M Club of Greater Flint will match all donations up to $5,000. The possibilities and opportunities the space allows us to create are limitless. Without the support of alumni like you, none of this would be possible!

Thank you, and Go Blue!

Sincerely,

Marilyn M. Alvey B.S., R.D.H.
