Visitor Parking
Visitor Parking Permits can be provided to those planning to attend specific meetings or events. Please contact the host department to receive a Visitor Parking Permit.
Temporary metered parking is available in Lot P at the William S. White Building and the Northbank Center Parking Ramp is available as a paid option ($5.00 per entry; cash/credit accepted).
Paid Parking Options
The City of Flint offers Paid Parking Options at the following locations near campus:
Metered parking (276 spaces) – Downtown Saginaw St. (from Flint City Hall north to the Flint River and along side streets from Buckham Alley to Brush Alley). Available 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday (4-hour limit). $1 per hour.
Downtown Flat Lot – 125 E. Kearsley Street, Flint, MI 48502 (across from the University Pavilion). $5 flat rate.
Rutherford Parking Garage – 125 W. Kearsley Street 48502 (across from the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel). $5 flat rate.
Riverfront Parking Garage – 302 Beach Street, Flint, MI 48502. $5 flat rate.
Visitors to Departments or Special Events (pre-planned visits)
Departments may request permits for visitors attending particular meetings or events by contacting Gaye Stover at [email protected] or 810-762-3330. The request should be made three days before the date needed and include the following information:
- Date of visit
- Name of visitor
- Desired parking location
