Curriculum and requirements are the same regardless of the format you choose, and you will explore the two branches of psychology:

Experimental: biological, cognitive, developmental, and social
Applied: clinical, industrial and organizational, health, and legal

Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Social Sciences

Explore the intersection of people and their economic, social, and political institutions. You’ll have the option to select a primary discipline, complemented by two other disciplines, from anthropology, economics, history, political science, psychology, and sociology.

UM-Flint offers two different co-curricular groups, giving you hands-on experience that will enrich and strengthen your job and graduate school preparation, applications, and interviews.

The Psychology Club brings together psychology majors, minors, and other interested students for professional development opportunities, community engagement initiatives, and more.

PSY 300 engages you in a range of professional development activities, from examining possible career paths to creating materials for a professional portfolio.

Admission Requirements

Whether you’re a first-year student or a transfer student, we aim to keep the admissions process simple, saving you time and money. We accept applications on a rolling basis; however, we recommend submitting all application materials at least 1 month before you plan to start your first semester.
