10:30 a.m.Immigration Regulations and Employment 101: Hear from Designated School Official Kim about your student visa, how to stay in compliance, and working on campus.
11:15 a.m.Student Support Resource Fair: This is your opportunity to meet our campus and community partners who help support you. Get to know each department, their staff, and their services.
11:45 a.m.Mini Lessons: U.S. Higher Education System: Alex goes over the basics of what it’s like studying at a U.S. university, the class structure, how you’ll be graded, and more.
12:15 p.m.Campus Tour: Student leaders will help you find your way around campus.
1:15 p.m.Lunch and Learn — Scams: Refuel and get educated on the ins and outs of protecting yourself from scams.
2 p.m.Meet Counseling and Psychological Services: Learn from Juanita Tookes about how CAPS can support your well-being on campus.
2:20 p.m.Meet the Department of Public Safety: Meet Chief Ray Hall and Lt. Heather Bromley for information about staying safe on campus.
2:40 p.m.Meet the Office of the Dean of Students: Meet Julie Snyder to learn how they support student success on campus.
3 p.m.Survey and Wrap-Up: You did it! Rate orientation and get some well-deserved rest.
