Academic Resources

Study Abroad
Travel the world for credit and come back with experiences that reshape how you think, work, and lead. UM-Flint students who study abroad through the Center for Global Engagement are guaranteed a scholarship of up to $1,500, with faculty-led trips, semester exchanges, and short-term programs across nearly every continent.
Honors Program
Join a community of curious, motivated students who learn together across disciplines. The Honors Program offers small cohort-based courses, one-on-one mentorship, and up to $3,000 in funding for an off-campus experience, study abroad trip, internship, or research project tied to your major.
Student Success Center
Stay on track from your first semester to graduation. The Student Success Center coordinates new student orientation, academic advising, free tutoring, and supplemental instruction, along with academic success specialists who help you build the time management, study, and exam-prep skills that make college work.
