Today, we honor Giulia Angelina Colone, age 18, of Davison. Giulia was born in Grand Blanc, MI, on July 5, 2007, the daughter of Jamie (Powell) and Andrew Sipley and Dr. Pino Colone.
Giulia will be remembered for her radiant smile, her kind and compassionate heart, and the quiet strength with which she faced every challenge. She had a natural gift for bringing people together and finding beauty in the smallest moments—whether through a shared laugh, a thoughtful word, or a simple act of kindness.
One of Giulia’s greatest joys was the bond she shared with her beloved canine companion, Koda. The two were inseparable, sharing countless adventures and offering one another unconditional love and comfort. Though her time with us was far too short, her spirit will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
Giulia is survived by her mother, Jamie (Andrew) Sipley; father, Dr. Pino Colone; six siblings, Brenden (Ashlyn) Wardlaw, Kaelynn Wardlaw, Kristina Wardlaw, Carter Sipley, Lincoln Sipley and Luca Colone; grandparents, Wes and Shelia Powell, Renee Sipley and Angelina Colone; four uncles, Brad (Carrie) Powell, Ernie (Angie) Sipley, Rob Colone and Angelo (Tara) Colone; aunt, Brooke (Laith) Sitto; canine companion, Koda; many other loving family members and dear friends, including her Italian family members, Zia Anna (Tony), Zia Patty (Daniel), cousin, Collin, along with numerous family and friends in Italy. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Chuck Sipley and Claudio Colone; great-grandparents, Gordon and Joan Lang, Ken and Evelyn Powell.
Rest in peace, Giulia. You will always be missed and never forgotten.
